About us
Everyone likes a good story. It does not have to be happy or sad, or even have a beginning or an end. But you know when it's good. It grabs you, opens your eyes, your brain and your heart, and you can't wait to tell it to others.
Humans have always been great storytellers, it is part of who we are. And we need only look around us for the most amazing source of material: we live in a world full of good stories. A world of scientific discoveries and revelations, of interactions between all its inhabitants, of diverse and magical environments.
Curious creatures that we are, we have always been driven to explore and understand these wonders, and to collect both the objects and the stories of these discoveries. Priceless collections, displayed in cabinets of curiosities like shimmering treasure troves.

At UNPLUCKED we think it is time to let all these stories out and build a modern version of these cabinets of curiosities. Collections of objects inspired by these amazing stories to be companions in everyday life, not behind glass doors and under lock and key.

UNPLUCKED is the brainchild of Ana Padilla, scientist, art lover, avid collector of all things beautiful and storyteller. Working with incredibly talented artists and designers, we create home and lifestyle products, from scarves to tablecloths, from lampshades to trays, from bags to wall hangings, all made in a sustainable way, for the workers and the planet.
Each product comes with a booklet to help you understand the science behind its design, so you can be part of our storytelling tribe.
